Loire Valley Castles:

We then arrive in Chinon Its castle built on a rocky outcrop was the scene of terrible fighting, but also hosted the famous meeting between Joan of Arc and the future Charles VII! It is probably one of the finest examples of medieval architecture in the Loire Valley.
At the heart of Touraine,
Château de Saché was one of the privileged places of inspiration for the writer Balzac where he lived part of his life.

 

In Ussé you can visit "Sleeping Beauty Castle" as it is in fact the place that inspired Charles Perrault.

For Middle Ages lovers, Langeais is a must. Here behind the drawbridge Charles VII married Anne de Bretagne.
